  Step 4: Incorporate your reading The last step is probably the most important. Take the information and find a way to apply it in your life. This is why I advise you to take notes and ask questions. You have to bring that information back to you, assess it, make any changes that you need to, and assimilate it into your life so that it can help you. If you don’t, you are just getting a reading for the heck of it. Save your money! Do your reading with purpose and apply it with purpose. If the reading says that things are going well and it predicts the outcome you want, then take that to heart and act like it is correct. This is the surest way to cause the outcome you desire.   Step 3: Get the Reading! So, you have found a good reader, and you have formulated a good question. Now comes the fun part: Getting the reading! Now, you may think that this is the simple part. I mean, you go in, you sit down and the reader tells you what the oracle says, right? Well, yes… And no. There are still things that you need to do to get a good reading. Let’s take a look at what they are. First, you need to be in the right frame of mind. You need to be open to receiving a good reading. Nothing will kill the energy in a reading quicker than your doubt or presumption that it is going to be bad. Remember, the cards (or whatever oracle is being used) is going to be connecting to and referencing your energy. If you are putting out doubt or negative thoughts about the reading or the outcome, that is what it is going to pick up on.
